Good Morning all. Last night I completed a Princess cake for Durbanville Childrens Home. Not only was it a pleasure to make the cake, but I can't wait to get photos of the children in House Nine when they see there Princess Cake. The cake was colored pink and iced pink. I than opted for Pettinice to design the dress, as there is so much more you can do with Pettinice than Buttercream Icing, and the dress is so much neater. I also chose an original Barbie doll as opposed to a cheaper plastic version, as it gave the cake a "classier" look. Hope you all enjoy the photos I have posted, and they are in my gallery as well.
Until next time. Have fun. Mandy-Jane

Good Morning all. With Fathers Day coming up in June I am busy with a few ideas to put forward to my clients. Yesterday I made some Blue Velvet Cupcakes (Yes, BLUE Velvet!). But instead of Cream Cheese Icing, I opted for Buttercream Icing instead. And all I can say is YUMMY! They turned out so great. Here are a couple of pictures which are also posted in the gallery. Tell me what you think. Of course, I am not a photographer, so my photos aren't exactly perfect. But you get the idea.
