Morning all,

Gosh! It feels like I have been away from the blog for a month!  It has only been a week.

Well, last week I did two small cakes.  The first one was a Picture cake which I added a little "Cars" theme to, and the second one was a lovely Single Cake Princess Theme with a Crown on top for a 17 yrs old.

I think the colors for the Princess cake came out really beautifully.  Of course with the heat we have had, I hit a slight snag with the cake.  The fondant collapsed!  so I had to take it all off the cake, and start again.  Still not perfect, but it looks great.

After I had taken the pictures, I added the Birthday Girls name to the cake, which really finished it off well.  Sorry I don't have pics of the fully completed decor.

So here are the 2 cakes I did.

This was the Cars Themed Picture cake.

The pretty Princess Birthday cake.

So this week, I have a rather strange "Man Cake" to make.  Lol.  I can't wait to do it, as it is totally different to what I have done in the past.

So until next week.  Have fun.

Good Morning Everyone!

Well after the hype of the big Wedding Cake I did the beginning of the month, I got to do a nice, cute girly Cowgirl Jessie cake this weekend.
I love doing Birthday cakes.  They are always different and definitely less stressful than a Wedding Cake.  Lol.

I have 2 Weddings for next month!  Phew! But there are still quite a few more Birthday Cakes to come this month.

So as I was saying before I climbed off the path.  The Jessie cake I did for Saturday I totally enjoyed doing. Right down to the little Jessie Cowgirl hat sitting on the Cake Board.

And the cutest part, was seeing the little Birthday Girl Leteia in her Jessie outfit.  I do so wish I had had my camera with me so that I could have taken a pic of her with the cake.  She looked so cute.

Well here is a picture of the cake (Turned the Picture frame around so that the client could choose whichever picture she wanted in the front).

Enjoy.

So, until next week (Or should I say this week sometime)
Have fun!

Good Evening Everyone.

Welcome to a New Year!  Hoping that all your wishes, dreams and resolutions come true for the New Year.

Well, I am back at work this past week!  And what a way to start the new year!  A WEDDING CAKE!  Yah.

3 Tiers of yummy soft, delicate, spongey goodness!  Chocolate!

I love it when  the customer is happy.  And this wonderful couple were exstatic when they saw there cake.  Sooooo Happy am I.

So without any delay,  here are some pictures of the Wedding Cake.

This is the Side View of the Wedding Cake.

This is the back of the Wedding Cake.

What originally started out as a Cake with Dots out of Royal Icing, and a Wedding that was supposed to happen in March 2013, ended up with a Cake with Flowers and Frills, and a Wedding that took place on Saturday 6th January!

So until next week, when I will have something for all of you who will be familiar with this Disney Pixar character.

Have fun
