Good Morning all,

Hope everyone had a good relaxing weekend.

I have a few pictures to show with what I did for the weekend, so I do hope you all like.

Firstly, I got to make Cupcakes and Cake Pops for my first Baby Shower!  Yah!

The Cake Pops were shaped like Rattles, and I did all the packaging myself as well.  Bought the little Dummies, and attached them along with the Tags that I got to make.  Had lots of fun doing that.

The Cupcakes I got to surprise with the Toppers.  Made little Bibs & Bottles, but 4 of the main cupcakes I change slightly.  On a Scroll (X 3) I had "Elizabeths, Baby Shower", and the fourth cupcake I designed a little baby onto a Disc.  Using the Jem Cutter (Baby package).  That was fun, because I got to "clothe" the baby however I wanted to.

And than I got to make a Minnie Mouse Cake for a little girl who just turned 1.
This cake was based on a cake I did last year (Minnie/Hello Kitty) with a few changes.  Had a few moments with the Minnie figurine (Lol), but was very happy with my first big bow I did on top of the cake.

More Pictures in my gallery.

So until next time, have fun

Good Afternoon all,

Phew!  I have been a bad girl!  Been very slow in updating my blog.  So I am not going to waste anytime, and show you all what I have been up to the past few weeks.

First off,  I got to do some really beautiful bright Cupcakes for a beautiful bright wedding.  The clients and I initially sat down with one basic idea, and ended up pretty much changing the style of the idea.  Using Brightly colored Cupcake Wrappers, and plain white vanilla buttercream, I added brightly colored hearts to each cupcake (With a pretty floral design on each one), and of course, a cupcake is not complete without the glitter.
I do hope you all like the pictures.
I love doing cupcakes for Weddings.  Not only can you use different designs and colors for each cupcake, but it is so practical and easy to serve to guests.

On the same day, I got to do a very special Teddy Cake for an existing client.  Her youngest son turned 2, and loves Teddies!  I loved doing this cake.  The design was taken from a picture the client sent, and unfortunately there was no watermark on the picture, so I don't know who to credit for the design.  Made a couple of my own changes.  And absolutely loved the way the Lettering (Tiago) came out!

And then!  I got to do my first Christening Cupcakes.  I fell in love with this design I saw on google (Once again, no watermark, so I can't credit anyone).  I changed a few things on the designs and the clients loved them!

And then!  Lol.  This past week I had the added stress of a Wedding Cake!.  The design as simple as it was, was just so beautiful and clean.  The clients fell in love with the idea of having their initials sprayed onto the cake, and after a few months of searching, I found someone who was will to do the Stencils for me.  So a huge! thank you to Lelanie from LillyK.
I got my Sugar Arts Teacher involved, and she helped me design and make the Bride and Groom figurines.  So another huge! Thank you to Linda, from Sugar Cakes.

So until next time.

Have fun

Evening All,

So for those that are wondering what on earth had happened to me the past couple of weeks?  I got "floored" with a really bad dose of flu (Bronchitis).  Hit me like a ton of bricks!

Of course I still had cakes to do, so I would spend 3 days in bed, than be up for 3 days making cakes!  But I have got through it, and only have a little sniffle left over.

So, without further ado, here are the couple of cakes that I have done recently.

The first one, I like to think of it as a "Man Cake"  and for those of you who might be looking at it wondering what on earth it is, it is a .......... Top of a Honda Car Engine!

I am sure that by the time the client, the birthday man and all there friends had finished the cake, there mouths must have been stained black and red from all the gel coloring!
But I know they loved the cake.

So here is a picture:

And than on Friday I had a very special cake to make for a little boy who turned 1 yrs old!  It was a Barney and friends cake (Had so much fun doing the cake)  and because it was Zaakirs' crown birthday, I put a crown on top in Gold Glitter with stars behind saying"  Happy Birthday" in gold.

Hope you all enjoy the picture.  The original design (excluding the crown)  is not mine, unfortunately, there was no watermark on the picture, so I am unable to credit the original designer.

So until next week, when I will have a few more cakes and cupcakes for you.

Have fun!
